There are a number of parrot focused conventions held around the world every year.  This is one I would have loved to go to if I had had more advance notice.  No way I would get award seats in high season between Australia and LAX.  People based in the USA have a chance though and if you are interested in parrot conservation it looks like a great program!  For details, head over to Parrots International’s Symposium site.
